changes

Today I realized that there are a lot of changes going on in my life right now. It’s sort of overwhelming but fun at the same time. One of the biggest changes is that I am going to be a student teacher next semester. I am excited and scared at the same time. I know that this is what I want to do in my life it just that there are going to be so many people watching over my shoulder. But once I get through that, I’ll be in charge. This of course is all dependent on my test scores. December 3. That’s when I find out.
Something else I realized today is I really love the people in my cohort and it sucks that student teaching is going to pull some of us apart. I just need to remember that I can always escape my hum-drum life with the ‘rents and come down here for a weekend to grade papers and plan.
Face it, I’m growing up. It’s a force of nature. But for now, I’m just going to enjoy the ride. The last 3 weeks of the semester are going to be the most “something” of my life.

I thought it was Bowie! I just wasn’t sure. I couldn’t remember if it was him and someone else or just him. Thanks for clearing that one up!
