a milestone

So around 9:30 am today, I will be officially done with academic classes at the U of I. Next semester I just have teaching classes for a week. Those don’t count because those are more like huge pep talks before going out to student teach. It seems like I’ve been doing this forever, waking up, going to class. But this is the last time. When you get here as a freshman, you don’t even think about this day. You don’t even think it’s going to end. But it does. On Tuesday, I will be done. I have 2 finals on that day and that will be it. It’s crazy.

yay for being done! im so proud of you! we’re growing up! remember freshman year and how much college used to suck? and how much it still sucks, but in such a different way. YAY!
