25 in 25 - 2006
By marissa | December 26, 2006
2006 - what a blip in history. I can’t believe how much happened this year. So much that I can’t even write a summary of the best of 2006. Here is what I can remember of 2006 it’s ups and downs:
- IRAQ - it was the talk of all of the news shows this year and with good reason. Finally the world has come to its senses and all agree that being in Iraq is not such a good idea. Now it is just a waiting game to see what Bush decides to do in the new year.
- YouTube - for it to be bought by Google you know that it was something to talk about. For the first time video was searchable and accessible to everyone. It changed how people use the web.
- Reality Check - there were more reality competition shows then ever before.I was addicted to Dancing with the Stars, myself. Which one was your favorite?
- There was some crazy weather going on as temperatures around the country were warmer than usual.
[There's a lot more that happened this year, but I am having a brain-freeze right now. Please bare with me as I attend to these technical difficulties.]

i think this is an awesome idea and look forward to reading the information you gather.
on a side note, the NPR thing was very exciting. New playlist for me to create!
