top 50 movies: ferris buller’s day off
By marissa | August 27, 2007
Seeing as I am such a movie fan, I thought I would share my favorite movies with you. There is no way I that could possible rank them in terms of a countdown, but I think it will just be a random listing of 50 of my favorites. You can find the complete list, by clicking on my lists page. I hope you find this new addition enjoyable or maybe even helpful when thinking about what to add to your netflix queue.

I thought I’d start off with one of my favorites from the good old days. Now don’t get me wrong, I love movies that provoke thought, and inspire me to do things; but I also love movies that are just fun. That’s what Ferris Buller’s Day Off is for me. It is a fun movie that captures that strange time known as senior year in high school. It is completely quotable, “Anyone, anyone . . . ” and is shows off Chicago’s architecture and sights. Not to mention, it has the best parade scene in a movie ever. If you haven’t seen it, you must. If you have seen it, watch it again. And always remember to SAVE FERRIS!
